Biography
Op. Dr. Aysın Akçay completed her medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine (English programme). She received her specialty training in obstetrics and gynaecology at Ankara Zübeyde Hanım Maternity Hospital between 1990 and 1995.
She began her career in 1995 at SSK Samsun Regional Hospital, where she worked as an obstetrician-gynaecologist until 2006. She worked at Samsun Maternity and Children’s Hospital in 2006–2007 and at Atasam Private Hospital from 2007 to 2024. Since 2024 she has practised at her office in Canik, Samsun.
Her areas of practice are antenatal care and birth, gynaecological examination and screening, menopause follow-up, vaginismus, gynaecological laser procedures and genital surgery.
